Overview Section
Summation of the volume of the messages are displayed in a variety of charts and totals. The section includes the following depending upon the selection of the Channel Filtering:

Message Totalling Panel
This is found at the top of the page, just below the Metrics Filtering and contains overall totalling for the Overview Section. This is broken down into four parts
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period. To the right of this is the movement in the number of messages, which is displayed as a percentage together with an indicator showing if the movement was in a positive or negative direction.
Below these values, the total number of messages for the previous period is displayed for reference.
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period as an area chart, so that the movement during the time period can be assessed.
Shows the average number of replies for the current period. To the right of this is the movement in the number of replies, which is displayed as a percentage together with an indicator showing if the movement was in a positive or negative direction.
Below these values, the average number of messages for the previous period is displayed for reference.
Volume Sentiment BreakdownType
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period, broken down by Sentiment. This is displayed as a bar chart showing the percentage breakdown and also as a pie chart surrounding the highest percentage and the sentiment.
Located below the Message Totalling Panel and is visible if the Channel Filtering is set to ALL.
Displays the volume of the messages captured by the application in the current period, as a percentage, broken down by Channel as a column chart. Below each column is to the total number of messages and the percentage of the volume totals. Below these values is also displayed the icon of the channel as a visual aide.
To the right of each column is a secondary column which shows the breakdown of the channel by sentiment.
Located below the Message Totalling Panel and is visible if the Channel Filtering is set to ALL.
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period broken down by Channel as an area chart.
Located below the Message Totalling Panel and is visible if the Channel Filtering is set to a specific Channel and the Stream Filtering is set to ALL.
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period broken down by Stream as an area chart. To the left of the area chart is a pie chart surrounding the name and percentage of the most active Stream.
Located below the Message Totalling Panel and is visible if the Channel Filtering is set to a specific Channel.
Shows the total number of messages captured by the application for the current period broken down by Message Type within the selected Stream as an area chart. To the left of the area chart is a pie chart surrounding the name and percentage of the most active Message Type.
Located below the Message Totalling Panel and is visible if the Channel Filtering is set to a specific Channel.
Shows the volume of messages captured by the application for the current period broken down by Sentiment as an area chart. To the left of the area chart is a bar chart showing the sentiment breakdown by Message Type.
Located at the bottom of the Metrics Overview.
This panel shows two bar charts showing breakdown of the messages captured by the application for the current period, broken down by Country and City. To the right of these bar charts is a representation as to location of the author of the messages displayed upon a map, where the intensity of the country colour indicates the percentage volume.
